Step into a dynamic contract position supporting a young learner as a dedicated LPN in a school setting. You’ll provide essential care and support throughout the Extended School Year (ESY) and into the regular New School Year (NSY).
Key Details:
- Provide 1:1 care for an elementary student.
- ESY assignment: July 6, 2026–July 30, 2026, Monday–Thursday, 11:00am–1:00pm.
- Continue into the NSY starting August 26, 2026.
- Full-time, contract status with guaranteed pay and hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered LPN/LVN license.
- Experience working in school settings or with children preferred.
- Previous 1:1 pediatric nursing experience is highly valued.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers.
- Knowledge of individualized healthcare plans and special education processes.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 nursing support to an elementary student during school hours.
- Monitor and respond to student health needs, medication administration, and emergency situations.
- Maintain thorough documentation according to school and regulatory guidelines.
- Support the student's educational and social development in partnership with staff and family.
- Adapt to the evolving needs of the student throughout the school year.
