Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and active LPN license
• Previous experience caring for medically complex patients, including those with ventilator support
• Experience in a pediatric or school setting is preferred
• Ability to demonstrate strong communication and advocacy skills
• Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
• Certification and documentation in line with state and school requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver attentive 1:1 care to a high school student throughout the school day, including on the school bus
• Monitor and manage ventilator support and other medical equipment as needed
• Observe and document the student’s status, responding proactively to changes in condition
• Coordinate closely with school staff, family, and other healthcare professionals to ensure consistency and safety
• Provide support that encourages the student’s full participation in school activities, respecting their cognitive abilities and individual preferences
• Maintain clear, accurate records and adhere to all clinical and school protocols
