Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Pittston, PA

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active LPN or RN license in Pennsylvania
• Previous nursing experience in a school, pediatric, or healthcare setting preferred
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, staff, and caregivers
• Commitment to providing compassionate care and maintaining student confidentiality
• Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergencies and routine situations
• Reliable, flexible, and eager to contribute within a school community

Primary Duties:

• Deliver general direct nursing care to students according to school policies and under CSN supervision
• Administer medications, perform health assessments, and manage minor injuries or illnesses
• Maintain accurate student health records and documentation
• Support health education and preventive care initiatives within the school
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to ensure student well-being
• Monitor and report on student health needs, alerting the CSN as required
