A full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is available to provide essential healthcare support in an educational setting within Plainfield, NJ. The role requires dedication to monitoring and caring for a young student with complex medical needs in a one-on-one setting. This contract position offers consistent weekday hours from 8:25 a.m. to 3:25 p.m., running immediately through June 23, 2026, with a scheduled spring break.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized nursing care for a kindergarten student with multiple medical requirements.
• Monitor vital signs including temperature and glucose levels regularly.
• Assist with feeding to ensure the student chews and swallows food safely.
• Manage allergy protocols and other health-related tasks as needed throughout the school day.
• Collaborate with school staff and healthcare professionals to maintain a safe and supportive environment.

Qualifications:

• Current New Jersey LPN licensure and certification are mandatory.
• Proven experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing preferred.
