Key Qualifications:
- Active LPN/LVN license in Pennsylvania required
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educational staff
- CPR certification and the capacity to respond quickly to student health needs
- Compassionate, organized, and reliable professional demeanor
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administer daily medications and attend to students with chronic health conditions or acute medical issues
- Provide first aid and assess student wellness during the school day
- Document all health office visits and maintain accurate health records in compliance with privacy laws
- Communicate health concerns and updates to teachers, staff, and guardians as appropriate
- Support the health and well-being of students participating in a summer learning program
This temporary position runs July 6th to 30th, Mondays through Thursdays from 12:30pm to 3:15pm; a single shift on July 31st from 8:15am to 11:15am; and August 3rd to 6th from 8:15am to 3:15pm, providing a unique blend of part-time and full-time shifts.
