School Nurse (LPN) - Puyallup, Washington

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed for a temporary contract position covering health room duties at two elementary schools located in Puyallup, WA. This is a leave replacement assignment for the month of January, offering the opportunity to support student health in an educational setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and health room support for students at two elementary schools
• Manage health room operations, including routine assessments, medication administration, and care coordination
• Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers as necessary
• Maintain health records in compliance with school and state regulations
• Respond promptly to student health needs during school hours

Qualifications:

• Current and valid LPN/LVN license in the state of Washington
• Experience working as an LPN in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
• Availability to work full-time, 7.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, during the month of January
