School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Puyallup, Washington

Requirements:

• Current and valid LPN/LVN license
• Hands-on experience with trach care and trach suctioning
• Proficiency in g tube care and management
• Previous experience with pediatric or school-based nursing strongly preferred
• Ability to support student with transportation needs (including riding the school bus as needed)
• Comfort with diapering and providing personal care in a school environment
• Compassionate and professional demeanor, with excellent communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care to the assigned student throughout the school day
• Assist with all aspects of trach and g tube care, ensuring adherence to medical protocols
• Support basic needs, including diapering and safe transportation between home and school
• Collaborate with the student’s home health nurse to ensure a seamless transition and continuity of care
• Document daily care, clinical observations, and report any changes promptly to appropriate staff
