Make a meaningful impact during the 2026-2027 school year by providing personalized care as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) within a school setting. This full-time contract role focuses on delivering one-to-one medical support for a student needing G-tube feeding assistance and safe transportation to and from school. Your compassionate expertise will also be invaluable across additional school buildings during flexible afternoon assignments, student absences, and non-attendance Wednesdays.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Washington State LPN License/Certification
  • Successful fingerprinting/background check completed through OSPI
  • Previous experience supporting children with complex medical needs highly preferred
  • Comfort administering G-tube feedings and managing medical equipment
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Collaborative attitude with school staff, students, and families
  • Willingness to ride the school bus as a student’s dedicated nurse

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive, individualized LPN care for a designated student, including G-tube feeding and monitoring
  • Accompany the student to and from school on the bus to ensure safety and continuity of care
  • Maintain accurate medical records and communication related to daily care activities
  • Respond promptly to health emergencies and adapt protocols as needed
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, and administration to support optimal student wellbeing
  • Assist in other school buildings or classrooms as needed on afternoons, non-attendance Wednesdays, or when the primary student is absent

This contract opportunity offers full-time, daytime hours (Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–3:30 pm) aligning with the school calendar, creating an excellent work-life balance.
