School Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse) in Quakertown, PA

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) or Registered Nurses (RNs) with current Pennsylvania certification are needed to provide 1:1 care for a female student throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity is located near Quakertown, PA and includes close collaboration with educational teams to ensure the safety and well-being of a student requiring monitoring and rescue medication both in class and during transportation.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted LPN or RN license issued by the state of Pennsylvania
• School nurse experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to medical emergencies
• Previous pediatric or 1:1 care experience is a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to ride the bus with the student, ensuring consistent care

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide vigilant, compassionate 1:1 care for a student in both classroom and transportation settings
• Administer and monitor rescue medication as prescribed
• Accurately document all care and interventions according to school and state requirements
• Act as a health advocate and liaison between the student, family, and school staff
• Substitute in other school settings should the primary student be absent, as permitted
