School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Quincy, Massachusetts

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Active and valid Massachusetts LPN or RN license (required)
• Experience with school nursing or pediatric settings preferred
• Ability to manage care for a wheelchair-bound student including tracheostomy, G-tube feeding, suctioning, toileting, and related interventions
• Willingness to ride the van with your student to and from school each day
• Commitment to working 4 days a week, totaling 25 hours per week
• Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a genuine passion for student-focused care

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering direct 1:1 nursing care for your assigned student throughout the school day and while riding the van
• Managing trach care, G-tube feedings, toileting assistance, and suctioning with skill and confidence
• Administering medication and monitoring medical status as needed
• Collaborating with educational staff and families to ensure seamless support
• Maintaining accurate health records and reports
