Position Title: Full time 1:1 School Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Renton, WA 98057 

Position Type: Full-Time

Pay Range: 30-38/hr based on experience

Caseload: This is a 5 year old female with a trach and vent otherwise mobile and runs around.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to 1:1 students under the supervision of an RN

• Health-room aid for one of the elementary schools

• Experience with G-tube, seizure management, diabetic management, toileting, bus riding with a student

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

• Assist in implementing health care plans for students with chronic conditions

• Conduct basic health assessments and screenings

• Operating omnipod and dexcom devices 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Science in Nursing degree and/or Certificated School Nurse License

• Completion of an accredited LPN program

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license 

• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience, preferably in a school or pediatric setting (elementary caseload)

• Current CPR and First Aid certification
