School Nurse (LPN) - Rialto, California

Key Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted LPN or LVN license
• Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
• Up-to-date CPR/BLS certification
• Understanding of common childhood illnesses, medication administration, and emergency response protocols
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver direct nursing care and first aid to students and staff as needed
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and school policies
• Maintain accurate health records, documentation, and incident reports
• Support students with chronic health conditions and update care plans as appropriate
• Participate in special education meetings and student health assessments
• Educate students and staff on health, hygiene, and wellness topics
• Monitor for symptoms of communicable diseases and follow school health protocols
