A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is needed to support a K-12 school in Rialto, CA for the current school year (CSY) on a contract basis. This role focuses on providing essential healthcare services and support to students and staff within the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer basic nursing care and first aid to students and staff as needed
• Monitor and assess student health concerns, documenting and reporting as appropriate
• Manage medication administration in compliance with healthcare guidelines and school policies
• Collaborate with school staff and healthcare providers to support student wellness plans
• Maintain health records and ensure confidentiality of medical information
• Assist in health screenings and emergency care response within the school setting

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid LPN or LVN license in the state of California
• Previous experience in a school nursing or pediatric healthcare setting preferred

• Knowledge of basic nursing practices and ability to handle emergency situations calmly
