School LPN - Rochester, Washington

A school-based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is available for the 2026-27 academic year in the Tumwater, WA area. This contract role involves providing dedicated one-on-one nursing care to a first-grade student, supporting their health and well-being throughout the school day. The position requires a committed and compassionate LPN/LVN with experience in school health settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized nursing care and support to a first-grade student in a 1:1 capacity
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring the student’s condition closely
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and family to ensure the student’s health needs are met
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with school regulations
• Promote a safe and healthy learning environment

Qualifications:

• Valid LPN or LVN license recognized in Washington State
• Prior experience working as an LPN in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate attitude with a student-focused approach

Location and Schedule:

• Position located in Tumwater, WA, near Rochester
• Contract role covering the 2026-27 school year
• Approximately 32.5 hours per week
• Working closely with a first-grade student
