Provide essential healthcare services as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) within a K-12 school setting, supporting student health and wellness throughout the school day. This contracted position offers the opportunity to work part-time with potential for full-time hours based on district needs, serving primarily one school location in the Jacksonville area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care to students in the health room, responding to a variety of healthcare needs
• Monitor student health and maintain accurate records in accordance with district policies
• Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers regarding student health concerns
• Participate in required orientation and ongoing training sessions prior to the assignment start
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all applicable healthcare regulations and school guidelines

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, active Florida LPN license
• High school diploma or GED equivalency
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Preferred: prior experience working as an LPN in school settings or with children and adolescents
