This position is for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) supporting a student in a school setting in Saint Charles, IL. The role involves providing one-on-one nursing care to a student with Down Syndrome who requires specialized medical support throughout the school day.

Key responsibilities include:

• Administering approximately eight gastrostomy tube (G-tube) feedings daily
• Monitoring blood glucose levels using Blue Loop technology
• Administering insulin and performing carb counting for effective diabetic care
• Collaborating with school staff and healthcare providers to ensure the student’s health and safety
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of all medical interventions and observations

Qualifications and experience:

• Current and valid LPN/LVN license
