Desired Qualifications:
- Current, valid LPN license in the state of Minnesota
- Active CPR/AED certification
- Demonstrated experience providing care to pediatric patients, especially within school-based or special education settings
- Strong documentation skills and experience following individualized healthcare plans
- Ability and willingness to participate in student transportation, including riding the school bus as needed
- Comfortable delivering specialized, one-on-one care to students with significant medical or developmental needs
- Prepared to attend a virtual or in-person interview as part of the hiring process
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain accurate records and collaborate with school staff and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, student-centered care based on established health plans and physician directives
- Provide attentive, daily health support for students with high-need disabilities, ensuring safety and dignified assistance at all times
- Ride the school bus with assigned students, ensuring their healthcare needs are met during transport
- Accurately document all care provided and communicate effectively with both the education team and families
- Maintain confidentiality while fostering a nurturing, inclusive environment for students
