Shifts are generally 7 hours per day, with flexible PRN (substitute/per-diem) schedules and potential transitions to longer-term or full-time positions as needs arise.

What you’ll bring:

  • Current, active Florida LPN license
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid CPR/BLS certification
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to a school environment
  • Ability to complete thorough credentialing, including successful fingerprint clearance and compliance with district-specific badging processes

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing daily health services in the school health room
  • Managing varying student health needs as they develop during the school day
  • Supporting students, staff, and families with compassionate, professional care
  • Attending required orientation and training at the district office prior to starting
  • Adhering to school and district protocols to ensure student safety and well-being

These roles start August 10, 2026, running through May 28, 2027, with a competitive pay range of $29–30 per hour. Assignments are typically at a single campus with locations in elementary, middle, or high school settings.
