School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Salem, New Hampshire

An opportunity awaits for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) interested in supporting students in an educational environment. This contract position is located near Salem, NH and is available for the upcoming 26/27 school year. Working within a year-round school setting, you will have the chance to make a real difference by providing essential care and companionship to a student with medical and mobility needs. This is a part-time role, with approximately 20 hours per week.

Key Requirements:

• Current LPN or LVN license in good standing
• Experience working in a school setting preferred
• Comfortable providing care for students with significant medical or mobility needs
• Strong communication and observational skills
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
• CPR certification required

Core Responsibilities:

• Accompany a student to and from out-of-district schools in a van (transportation is provided)
• Provide vigilant oversight and medical care as needed throughout transit
• Offer assistance with the student’s mobility challenges and comfort during the ride
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided
• Communicate with school staff, healthcare professionals, and family members as needed
