Step into an impactful summer assignment as an LVN, supporting students in a dynamic school environment near Santa Maria, CA. This is a full-time, onsite contract role spanning June 15 to July 8, 2026, with no work on Juneteenth and July 3rd. You’ll be working weekdays from 7:45AM to 4:15PM, with a half-hour break, completing 40 hours each week.

Leverage your clinical skills to make a difference by assisting with medical tasks, such as catheter support, and ensuring students receive the care they need during summer programs and related field trips. You’ll also collaborate with staff and may provide additional support through the school’s LVN Pool as needed.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current and valid California LVN/LPN license
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Skilled in catheterization and personal care procedures
  • Strong ability to communicate and work effectively with students, staff, and caregivers
  • Adaptable with a collaborative, team-centered attitude
  • Female candidates preferred due to assignment requirements

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily nursing care and interventions to students onsite
  • Support students’ health needs during field activities
  • Collaborate with educational and administrative staff for coordinated care
  • Step in for absent staff or urgent needs as part of the LVN Pool
  • Maintain accurate health records and timely, clear communication
