LPN - School in Seattle, WA

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed for a leave coverage assignment in an elementary school setting in Seattle, WA. This contract position will cover health room duties for two elementary schools during the month of January. The role requires providing essential nursing care to support the health and safety of students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and operate the health room for two elementary schools, addressing student health concerns
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Document and communicate student health information accurately to relevant staff and families
• Respond promptly to emergencies and provide first aid as needed
• Collaborate with school staff to promote student well-being and safety

Qualifications:

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license valid in Washington State
• Experience working with children or in a school health setting preferred
• Ability to multitask and manage health room responsibilities efficiently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate health records

Position Details:

• Location: Seattle, WA
• Work schedule: 7.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday
• Duration: One-month leave coverage in January
