Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Shakopee, MN

• Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and respond to diverse student health needs
• Up-to-date CPR/First Aid certification

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide general nursing care and first aid to students and staff in the school health office
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and school protocols
• Monitor and document student health concerns, communicating with parents/guardians as needed
• Support students with chronic health conditions, such as diabetes, asthma, or allergies
• Collaborate with school personnel to promote a healthy and safe environment
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records

This role is part-time, with a schedule of one day per week from 7:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., making it ideal for those seeking work-life balance or additional hours to complement other employment.
