Location: South River, NJ
Position Type: Contract, Full-Time (Monday-Friday)
Hours: 8:25 AM – 3:25 PM
Assignment Duration: Immediate start through June 23, 2026 (Spring break April 3-10)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 nursing care for a kindergarten student with significant medical needs
  • Monitor vital signs, including temperature and glucose levels, throughout the day
  • Assist the student with eating, ensuring proper chewing and swallowing
  • Manage allergies and respond to health-related concerns as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must hold a valid LPN license/certification in New Jersey
  • Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
  • Ability to work independently and maintain detailed medical records
  • Strong communication and observational skills to monitor and respond to medical needs
