This assignment runs from August 31, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with hours from 9am to 3:45pm, Monday through Friday. You'll be an essential part of a dedicated staff working to ensure the health and safety of students throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Minnesota LPN license required
- Experience in school settings or pediatric nursing preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential situations with professionalism and care
- Familiarity with standard health office procedures, medication administration, and basic first aid
- Current resume highlighting relevant experience
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver daily health services to elementary-aged students, including medication administration, basic first aid, and chronic condition management
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of visits, treatments, and student health records
- Collaborate closely with school staff, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement healthcare plans
- Monitor student health concerns and respond to emergencies with composure
