Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Current LPN or LVN license, valid in the state of Washington
- Recent experience in a school, pediatric, or similar clinical setting highly preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills for interacting with students, staff, and parents
- Ability to assess student health concerns, provide basic nursing care, and maintain thorough documentation
- Adaptable to varying needs and able to respond calmly and professionally in emergencies
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver hands-on nursing services to students with acute or chronic health needs
- Administer medication and perform basic health checks according to care plans and school policies
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to support student wellness and educational goals
- Provide health education and address safety concerns within the school community
- Maintain accurate health records and report findings in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Respond promptly to health emergencies and offer first aid or triage as needed
