School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Tacoma, Washington

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Current LPN or LVN license, valid in the state of Washington
• Recent experience in a school, pediatric, or similar clinical setting highly preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication skills for interacting with students, staff, and parents
• Ability to assess student health concerns, provide basic nursing care, and maintain thorough documentation
• Adaptable to varying needs and able to respond calmly and professionally in emergencies

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver hands-on nursing services to students with acute or chronic health needs
• Administer medication and perform basic health checks according to care plans and school policies
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to support student wellness and educational goals
• Provide health education and address safety concerns within the school community
• Maintain accurate health records and report findings in compliance with school and regulatory standards
• Respond promptly to health emergencies and offer first aid or triage as needed
