School Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Temecula, CA

Skills & Experience Needed:

• Active and unrestricted LPN/LVN license valid in California
• Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable
• Strong background in caring for pediatric patients, especially those with complex medical needs
• Proficiency in ventilator care and management
• Understanding and experience with Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (BPD) is a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with students, staff, and families
• Must demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and good clinical judgment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one nursing support for a student with a ventilator and a diagnosis of BPD throughout the school day
• Monitor and manage the student’s respiratory needs and respond promptly to any emergencies
• Administer prescribed treatments and medications per the student’s care plan and medical team directives
• Document daily nursing activities and any pertinent medical occurrences
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and parents to support the student’s health, safety, and educational goals
• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations within the school
