School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Torrance, California

Key Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted LPN or LVN license in California
• Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is valued
• CPR certification and a solid foundation in first aid principles

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to students, including medication administration, health assessments, and management of chronic illnesses or acute needs that arise during the school day
• Collaborate with school staff and parents regarding student health plans and support accommodations for individuals with medical needs
• Monitor and document health events and interventions according to regulatory and district standards
• Participate in health screenings and contribute to health education programs for students and staff
• Respond efficiently to health emergencies and maintain a calm, compassionate approach throughout all interactions
