A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is available to provide dedicated care to a student with specific medical needs in a school setting. This role includes LPN nursing duties along with paraeducator responsibilities, requiring a candidate with a solid medical background to effectively manage the student’s health conditions.

Location: Basile, Louisiana (WW Stewart Elementary)
Schedule: Tuesday through Friday, 7:20 AM to 3:50 PM
Caseload: One student
Contract Duration: Immediate start through May 28, 2026

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care tailored to the medical needs of the assigned student
• Perform related paraeducator duties as required by the student’s educational program
• Collaborate with onsite administrator and RN support to ensure comprehensive care
• Monitor the student’s condition and respond appropriately to medical situations

Qualifications:

• Valid LPN/LVN license
• Medical background necessary to manage student’s healthcare needs
• Ability to fulfill paraeducator duties alongside nursing responsibilities
