Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current, active CT LPN license (required)
  • Experience managing and responding to seizures is essential
  • Familiarity with school-based nursing responsibilities is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to interact positively with students of all ages
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer routine and emergency medical care to students, with a special focus on seizure protocols
  • Monitor students’ health status and respond promptly to medical concerns while on campus
  • Work closely with teachers, staff, and parents to support overall student well-being
  • Maintain accurate health records and documentation according to school policies
  • Create a caring and inclusive environment where students feel safe and supported
  • Participate in school health activities and support broader wellness initiatives
