What We’re Looking For:
- Active LPN/LVN license in Connecticut
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Prior experience working with pediatric or medically fragile populations preferred
- Strong sense of professionalism and reliability
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with school staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide full-day one-on-one nursing care for a student with complex medical needs
- Monitor and address the student’s health status throughout the school day
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond to emergencies as needed
- Communicate regularly with families, school nurses, and educational staff
- Maintain detailed and accurate records in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Uphold confidentiality and support the student’s inclusion in school activities
