1:1 Elementary School Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Weymouth, MA

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and unrestricted LPN license in Massachusetts
• Prior experience working with children or within an educational environment preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to respond effectively to medical emergencies and provide calm support
• Skilled in maintaining accurate medical records and handling confidential information
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Professional, compassionate, and adaptable nature

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one nursing care to an assigned elementary student during the school day
• Administer medications and treatments as outlined in the healthcare plan
• Monitor student health, recognize signs of distress, and respond to medical issues promptly
• Communicate ongoing care and progress updates to parents, teachers, and other school personnel
• Act as an advocate for the student’s health needs within the classroom and throughout the campus
• Assist with classroom participation, mobility, and daily living activities as needed
• Document care provided, incidents, and changes in the student’s condition
