Elementary 1:1 School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Weymouth, Massachusetts

Desired Qualifications:

• Active LPN license in Massachusetts
• Previous experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school or educational setting
• Comfort and familiarity providing 1:1 care, including medication administration, monitoring health conditions, and emergency interventions
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and educational staff
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and FERPA guidelines

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care and support to an assigned elementary school student throughout the school day
• Monitor the student’s health status, responding promptly to medical needs and implementing care plans as directed
• Administer medications and support health management tasks per the student’s healthcare plan
• Document care provided and communicate status updates to appropriate school professionals and family members
• Engage with classroom activities to help promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Act as an advocate for the student’s health, safety, and participation in school life
