School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Whittier, California

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active LPN or LVN license in California
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced or emergency situations
• Experience with care plan development and medication administration
• CPR and First Aid certification required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration and minor first aid
• Monitor and manage chronic health conditions for students (such as asthma, diabetes, allergies)
• Maintain accurate student health records and documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support individual student needs
• Respond quickly to medical emergencies and ensure prompt, appropriate care
• Educate students and staff on health-related topics as needed
