School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Williamsburg, Virginia

This position offers consistent weekday hours, running from 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM, with responsibilities extending until June 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Active LPN/LVN license in Virginia
• Previous experience in pediatric, school, or similar settings is preferred
• Confidence in providing one-on-one nursing care for elementary-aged children
• Capable of assisting with daily medical needs and emergency response
• Comfortable with bus riding to ensure the student’s safety to and from school
• Strong communication skills for coordination with families, teachers, and healthcare teams
• Possess up-to-date CPR certification and current immunization records

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized health care and support for a designated elementary student
• Monitor and document medical treatments, administering medication as prescribed
• Ride the bus with the student to ensure safety during transportation, handling any medical situations that may arise
• Collaborate with school staff, educators, and families to provide continuous care
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records
• Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for the student throughout the school day
