School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Winder, Georgia

We're seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contract position providing one-on-one care for a 5th grade student within a school setting. This is a hands-on role—engage directly with student care needs in both home and school environments, making a daily impact.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active Georgia LPN license required
• Previous 1:1 nursing experience in a school setting highly preferred
• Proficiency with g-tube/G/J-tube feedings, oxygen administration, and seizure management
• Solid skills in oral suctioning, asthma care, and medication administration

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet the student at home each morning and accompany them on the school bus to and from school, in line with the student’s IEP and physician’s directives
• Oversee daily care including g-tube feedings, supplemental oxygen use, administration of medication, seizure observation, oral suctioning, asthma management, and vital sign monitoring
• Ensure a safe, secure, and calming environment relevant to the student’s health needs throughout the school day
• Maintain clear, ongoing communication with educational staff, family, and healthcare providers as necessary

Contract Details:

• Dates: August 10, 2026 – May 21, 2027
• Hours: 37.5 per week; Monday–Friday, 6:30am (at the student’s residence) to approximately 2:30/3:00pm
• Position is onsite—virtual options are not available
