Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Woodford, VA

Desired Qualifications:

• Active LPN license in the state of Virginia
• Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
• Comfort with the needs of diabetic students and seizure management
• Skilled in providing care for students with complex or fragile medical conditions
• Competency with bus riding, toileting assistance, diapering, g-tube and trach care
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Reliable, flexible, and professional approach to dynamic school-based needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Monitor and support students with chronic health conditions during the school day and bus rides
• Administer medications, manage medical devices (including g-tubes and trachs), and intervene in emergencies
• Maintain accurate student health records and documentation
• Provide education to staff and students regarding health and safety as needed
• Assist with activities of daily living, including toileting and diapering, as necessary
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all students
