A licensed practical nurse (LPN) is needed for a school-based contract position supporting an elementary student with specific medical needs in the Woodstock, GA area.
This full-time opportunity runs from August 5, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with the possibility of a few additional pre- and post-planning days. The workweek is Monday through Friday from approximately 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., totaling 37.5 hours per week.
The primary responsibility is a 1:1 assignment supporting an elementary student with medical complexities including J-tube feedings, seizure management, and oxygen administration. The student currently uses a gate trainer and has a prescription for oxygen, although it has not been needed during school hours. The nurse will also coordinate closely with parents and school staff to ensure comprehensive care. Onsite training will be provided in collaboration with the lead nurse.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Georgia
- Experience with tube feeding, seizure care, and oxygen administration
- Reliable attendance, as consistent presence is essential for the student’s participation in school
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with parents and staff
