This full-time, contract role offers a unique opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) looking to make a direct impact in an educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Washington LPN license, or willingness to obtain prior to start date
- Experience or confidence in managing feeding tubes
- School-based or pediatric care experience is highly valued
- Must be able to ride the bus with the student to and from school daily
- Fingerprinting through OSPI (or willingness to complete this process)
- Ability to work onsite throughout the contract period
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver attentive, 1:1 medical support for a fragile student throughout the school day
- Administer tube feedings and monitor the student according to care protocols
- Provide a safe and supportive bus ride for the student each morning and afternoon
- Maintain clear, timely records and communication with the educational and healthcare teams
- Consistently uphold best practices for student health, safety, and confidentiality
This position spans from September 9, 2026, to June 16, 2027, with a schedule of 40 hours per week. All work will take place onsite, ensuring continuity of care and student well-being.
