Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current California licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Previous experience working in school settings or with children, adolescents, and families is highly valued
  • Strong understanding of common challenges in school environments, including behavioral, emotional, and family dynamics
  • Skilled in providing individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and case management
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, faculty, and parents
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapeutic services to students individually or in groups, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Assess student concerns and develop tailored intervention plans
  • Engage with families to provide resources, support, and guidance for enhancing student success
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and school administrators to promote positive outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary case reviews, and school initiatives supporting mental health
  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and case notes in compliance with school and legal standards
