This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced Marriage and Family Therapists or School Social Workers who excel in K-12 educational environments. You’ll work collaboratively with school staff to provide essential mental health support, counseling, and intervention services to students and families.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or credentialed School Social Worker
  • Proven experience supporting students in school-based or similar youth settings
  • Familiarity with educational environments and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Strong crisis intervention, counseling, and case management abilities
  • Compassionate listener with excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Current state licensure and compliance with all regulatory requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for students experiencing social, emotional, or family challenges
  • Develop and implement intervention and support plans in collaboration with teachers, families, and other support staff
  • Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support during critical incidents or emergencies
  • Serve as a liaison between school, students, families, and community resources
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure confidentiality at all times
  • Support and educate faculty on intervention strategies and mental health awareness
  • Participate in school meetings, IEP processes, and team consultations as needed
