Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist or School Social Worker
- Experience supporting children, adolescents, or families in a school or similar environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized support plans and interventions
- Familiarity with crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support strategies
Responsibilities:
- Offer individual and group counseling to students, fostering social-emotional growth
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address students’ academic and emotional needs
- Conduct assessments to identify barriers to learning and recommend interventions
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams, attend IEP or 504 meetings, and participate in school-wide initiatives promoting student wellness
- Maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Deliver workshops or training sessions for staff and families on relevant topics
