Licensed Music Therapist | Baytown, Texas

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Texas Standard Educator Certificate with a Music EC-12 specialization
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Certified Music Therapist or relevant experience working with children/adolescents in school settings strongly preferred
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for working across a diverse K-12 caseload
• Ability to adapt musical programming for students with varied needs, backgrounds, and learning styles

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group music therapy sessions to support IEP goals, social-emotional learning, and communication development
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to integrate music therapy into students’ comprehensive care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings as necessary
• Travel between schools within the Houston and Baytown area as part of your weekly schedule
