Music Therapist in Cypress, TX

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active National Certification as a Music Therapist required
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Ability to complete district-specific background check and drug screening
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and organization to manage a small rotating caseload

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver music therapy interventions to a caseload of approximately 7 students, with sessions scheduled every other week (3-4 students per day)
• Collaborate with educational staff and families to develop and implement individualized therapy goals
• Maintain accurate session notes and participate in student progress meetings as needed
• Adapt and tailor sessions to meet the unique needs of each child
• Travel between assigned schools, if necessary, based on final caseload assignment
