Key Qualifications:

• Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) credential or eligibility
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music Therapy
• Experience working with children or adolescents in educational or clinical settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt sessions to accommodate a range of developmental, cognitive, and emotional needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ individual strengths and challenges to create customized, goal-oriented music therapy plans
• Implement engaging, evidence-based therapeutic interventions using music to address educational, emotional, behavioral, and social objectives
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with teachers and support teams
• Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to integrate musical interventions within broader student support plans
