Key Qualifications:

• Active National Certification in Music Therapy required
• Experience working with children or in educational settings preferred
• Ability to adapt interventions to meet the diverse needs of students
• Committed to maintaining all district-required credentials, including fingerprints and drug screening
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Organized, reliable, and passionate about harnessing music for student development

Primary Responsibilities:

• Offer therapy services to approximately 7 children (rotating groups of 3–4 students/day), every other week
• Design, implement, and evaluate individualized and group music therapy interventions
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district standards
• Consult regularly with teachers and families to track progress and provide strategies for classroom integration
• Adhere to all school district policies and ethical guidelines
