Bring your expertise as a Music Therapist to a rewarding contract opportunity serving students in the vibrant Houston, TX area! This specialized role focuses on providing music therapy sessions to children in a school environment during the 2026-2027 academic year. Qualifications and Experience:
- Active National Certification in Music Therapy required
- Experience working with school-aged children, ideally in educational settings
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators and staff

- Compliance with background check (including fingerprinting) and district-mandated drug screening
What You'll Do:
- Plan and conduct individualized or group music therapy sessions in alignment with student needs
- Consult with school staff and families to tailor approaches and track students' progress
- Maintain detailed session notes and documentation for school compliance
- Adjust therapeutic goals as necessary for student success
- Adhere to school policies and credentialing requirements
