Your expertise will help enrich students' emotional, cognitive, and social growth through music therapy, providing tailored sessions in a collaborative environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Active National Certification in Music Therapy required
• Experience providing therapeutic services to school-aged children preferred
• Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and goal setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must successfully complete district fingerprint/background check and drug screening before starting

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide music therapy services to a caseload of 7 students, ages to be determined
• Conduct sessions every other week (working with 3-4 students per day, one day per week)
• Assess students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and related service professionals
• Document session outcomes and progress for each student
• Adhere to all district, state, and federal regulations and best practices
