Step into a contract role where your expertise as a Music Therapist has a direct impact on students' lives. This opportunity runs from July 29, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with a schedule of one day per week. You'll partner with a vibrant student community, supporting children who benefit from music therapy as part of their educational journey.

Your caseload will typically consist of seven children, working with three to four students during each visit. Sessions operate on a biweekly basis, allowing for personalized attention and meaningful progress. The number of schools you'll visit is still being determined, but expect each day to be filled with purposeful interactions and creativity.

What You Bring:

  • Active National Certification as a Music Therapist
  • Experience delivering music therapy in a school or pediatric setting
  • Ability to craft individualized therapy plans tailored to diverse student needs
  • A compassionate, collaborative attitude and strong communication skills
  • Willingness to complete district fingerprinting and a drug screen as part of the credentialing process

Your Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead music therapy sessions that are engaging, supportive, and evidence-based
  • Work with students across varying age groups, adapting approaches as needed
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records of each session’s goals and outcomes
  • Collaborate with school teams and families to coordinate care and measure student progress
  • Adhere to professional standards and district policies at all times
