Licensed Music Therapist - League City, Texas

This flexible per diem, part-time contract role involves providing therapy services two days a week throughout the school year, beginning with the 2025-2026 session. You’ll collaborate with educators and support teams to develop individualized strategies using music to help students meet their social, emotional, and educational goals. You’ll have ongoing opportunities to flex your creativity, connect with diverse learners, and make school a more inclusive and joyful space.

Qualifications:

• Texas Standard Educator Certificate with Music EC-12 specialization (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy or related field
• New graduates and experienced therapists welcomed
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of relevant therapies for pediatric and adolescent students

What You’ll Do:

• Provide assessment and therapy for K-12 students, tailoring interventions to individual needs
• Develop and implement treatment plans to help students achieve educational milestones
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to coordinate care and integrate music therapy into students’ routines
• Document progress and adjust strategies to maximize student engagement and success
• Attend consultation meetings as needed
