Licensed Music Therapist - Lewisville, Texas

Qualifications and Experience Needed:

• Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) status required
• Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
• Ability to develop and implement individualized and group music therapy sessions
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate professionally with school teams and families
• Compassionate, creative, and flexible mindset

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide music therapy services to students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Implement both individual and group sessions to address social, behavioral, emotional, and academic goals
• Conduct assessments and document student progress, participation, and outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing timely and relevant input regarding therapy goals and strategies
• Work closely with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to integrate music-based interventions into classroom routines
• Foster an inclusive and supportive atmosphere for all students, empowering them through music
