Licensed Music Therapist - Montgomery, Texas

Exciting opportunity for a licensed Music Therapist to work in-person at a school near Montgomery, Texas and the surrounding areas! This part-time, contract position welcomes those who are passionate about helping students thrive through music therapy. This assignment is for 3 hours per week, beginning ASAP and continuing through the end of the school year. Our school partners require on-site services—they are not seeking virtual providers for this role. Prior experience in a school setting is a plus, but enthusiastic new graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:

• Licensed as a Music Therapist in Texas (required)
• Previous experience working as a Music Therapist preferred, but not mandatory
• Available to work in-person in Montgomery, TX or in neighboring communities
• Able to commit to 3 hours weekly for the remainder of the school year
• Passionate about supporting students’ social, emotional, and cognitive growth through music

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group music therapy sessions to students
• Collaborate with educators, school counselors, and families to address student needs
• Maintain clear records of sessions, progress, and outcomes
• Adapt techniques and interventions to best support a diverse student population
